Niagara Falls Hotel Packages
If you’re planning a trip to Niagara Falls, why not consider Niagara Falls hotel packages. You will find Niagara Falls hotel packages to suit most budgets in a variety of accommodations. Of course, the more you are willing to spend is the better the view, the location, and accessibility to major sights and attractions. If you spend any time at all looking, you’ll see there are a large variety of hotel packages available. So, instead of giving reviews of my top packages (which there are tons of already), I’m going to cover some things you should be considering before you buy.
What most people don’t realize is, no matter how great the deal, one should consider the finer details of the hotel location. While dining certificates, and free breakfast sound like paradise, if your hotel is situated too far from the excitement, you could end up paying for extra transportation. Or worse! End up walking for miles on end, which can put a damper on any vacation. Trust me, there are several areas, even near the falls that will leave you walking, and walking, and walking. So, make sure you try to end up near the majority of attractions, shows, and sights you are interested in.
Depending on what hotel you are staying at you’ll find an array of dining options. Most hotels have onsite restaurants that will accommodate their dining and buffet breakfast meals. Dining certificates are usually offered as a bonus for booking with a certain hotel, and will usually funnel people into their onsite restaurant. While some of these onsite restaurants are recognizable, like Applebee’s, the prices are far from it. Recently my wife and I purchased from a selection of Niagara Falls hotel packages for a romantic night away without the kids. We had opted for a hotel which included a $25 certificate for one of their less expensive restaurant options. After eating a light meal (which is all we really wanted anyway), the total bill came out to just over $90.00. Now, we expected this, but other people will be sadly disappointed when they find themselves using the gift certificate to clear their tip. Be aware of the relative value of the certificates before you purchasing Niagara Falls hotel packages, and be sure it’s something you want. In our case, it was.
One of the best values in Niagara Falls hotel packages would be an included buffet breakfast. Don’t waste your morning searching out breakfast restaurants which will only cost you time and extra money. With the convenience of an onsite breakfast buffet, you head to the lobby, fill up and hit the road to an exciting day. If you start your day with a large breakfast, you’ll eat less for lunch also saving you money. Only be careful that you purchase a package with a hot breakfast, or hot gourmet breakfast. You’ll find yourself getting awfully sick of muffins, cereals and toast with the complimentary breakfasts. Don’t hesitate to call the hotel and ask what is included in the buffet to make sure it will suit your needs.
Niagara Falls Hotel Packages can be convenient and rewarding as long as you understand what you are purchasing and the relative value of the extras. You’ll find endless pages of adverts and deals to purchase online, but don’t be so excited to shoot for the lowest priced option. Remember for a slight amount more you may obtain a much better value making for a much better stay.
